Hosted at In Process Community Art Space
Creativity doesn't have an age limit.
Join us each month for Creative Connections, a free community art gathering designed for adults ages 60 and older. Together we'll explore different art materials, learn new creative techniques, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making alongside others.
No artistic experience is needed, just curiosity.
Each month features a different process-based project using materials like paint, collage, printmaking, clay, nature, textiles, and more. Our focus isn't on creating the perfect piece of artwork. Rather, it's about enjoying the process, trying something new, and connecting with others.
Research shows that engaging in creative activities can support healthy aging by encouraging cognitive stimulation, reducing stress, fostering social connection, and promoting overall well-being.
What to expect:
A different hands-on art project each month
Step-by-step guidance in a welcoming environment
Time to socialize and create together
All materials provided
No previous art experience required
At In Process, we believe creativity is part of being human. Whether you've always loved making art or are picking up a paintbrush for the first time in decades, you'll find a supportive community waiting for you.
Cost: Free
Who: Adults ages 60+
Registration is required to plan accordingly for group size.
