Upcoming Classes
Join local artist Dani Pugel for an evening of color, movement, and creative exploration.
July 24th 5:30-7 pm
Using paint, squeegees, and a spirit of curiosity, participants will create vibrant abstract artwork through a process that is both surprising and accessible. This workshop invites you to let go of perfection, embrace experimentation, and discover what emerges through play.
No prior art experience is necessary. Whether you're a seasoned creative or haven't picked up a paintbrush in years, you'll leave with a unique piece of artwork and a renewed sense of creative freedom.
This workshop takes place during Beech Grove's Fourth Friday Art Walk, making it a perfect opportunity to explore local art, connect with community, and try something new.
All materials are included.
In Process workshops are designed to be beginner-friendly and process-focused. Come as you are. No artistic experience required.
Discover the magic of printmaking through one of the most accessible and rewarding techniques.
August 1 - 2-4 pm

This workshop is ideal for beginners and anyone interested in exploring printmaking without expensive equipment or prior experience.
Participants will leave with a collection of original prints and the skills to continue experimenting at home.

Slow down and reconnect with the creative process through the art of handmade paper.
August 29th - 4-6 pm
In this immersive workshop, artist Dani Pugel will introduce participants to the fundamentals of papermaking, from preparing pulp to forming and pressing handmade sheets. Participants will have opportunities to incorporate texture, botanicals, and other creative elements into their work while learning about the history and possibilities of this unique art form.
Because of the hands-on nature of papermaking, workshop size is intentionally limited to allow for individual guidance and ample workspace.
Participants will leave with several handmade paper creations and the knowledge needed to continue exploring the process independently.

In Process Studio is a project by Art of the Heart.
Art of the Heart has been creating therapeutic and community-based creative spaces for years. This studio grew from the desire to offer creativity outside of therapy, as a way of being, not fixing.
