What if you could paint without a paintbrush? or work with fabric without sewing? This workshop allows both!
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll create a beautiful textured landscape using colorful fabrics instead of paint. Inspired by the Japanese art of kinusaiga, this relaxing process combines composition, color, and texture to transform simple pieces of fabric into a one-of-a-kind work of art.
You'll layer and tuck fabric into your design to create rolling hills, trees, mountains, sunsets, or other peaceful landscapes. No sewing, drawing, or previous experience is needed, just a willingness to slow down and enjoy the creative process.
All materials are provided, including a variety of fabrics to choose from. You'll leave with a finished piece ready to display and a new appreciation for the possibilities of fiber as an artistic medium.
