Studio Steward Work Trade Program

Help care for the space. Receive access to create.

At In Process, we believe creativity is a basic human need, not a luxury.

The Studio Steward Work Trade Program is our way of making membership more accessible while inviting community members to help care for the space that cares for them.

Studio Stewards exchange time, reliability, and care for studio access. This may include welcoming guests during open studio hours, helping with light cleaning and organizing, supporting workshops, preparing materials, or assisting with community events.

This is not just about “doing chores.” It is about shared ownership, community care, and helping keep In Process welcoming, creative, and accessible.

How it works:

  • Studio Stewards commit to a 3-month cohort.

  • Each steward contributes approximately 8 hours per month in exchange for membership access during their cohort term.

  • Cohorts are intentionally small so we can provide clear training, support, and meaningful connection. If all spaces are filled, applicants may be invited to join the waitlist for a future cohort.
