Come cut something up and make something new.
Cut + Paste is a playful introduction to collage-making centered on experimentation, intuition, and letting go of the pressure to make something “perfect.”
Participants will explore composition, color, imagery, words, texture, and layering while creating their own original collage from magazines and found materials. Along the way, Sarah Jené will share some of the techniques she uses in her own collage practice and encourage participants to follow what catches their eye—even if they don’t quite know why yet.
No art experience is necessary. Just come ready to cut, rearrange, play, and see what happens.
