Hey all you ghouls and goblins! Want to construct a handmade halloween costume that will steal the show but not sure where to start? Join us for either of two separate sessions of Halloween Costume Construction with local multimedia artist Dani Pugel!
During half of the first class, we will discuss and sketch our goal costume components and the rest of the time will be spent learning simple construction methods and brainstorming cheap/recycled/found materials to create unique and fun costumes! All materials in the studio will be available for use, as well!
Please come with an idea of what costume you are hoping to create- sketches and pictures (even just on your phone) are a plus! You could make a costume for yourself, a little one or even a furry one!
You will also have access to the open studio times at In Process while enrolled in the class, for no additional cost. That is over 16 hours of studio time!
PLEASE NOTE: this is a sculptural costume class, all costumes will be arranged without using machine sewing methods unless the student is experienced- the space does have machines available for use.
